Meet Your Waco Photographer

Hi, I'm Breanne Johnson, the one you'll find behind the lens. Since April 2018, Me and my husband have been photographing families, couples, and businesses across Waco and Central Texas, growing from family and newborn sessions into a full-service studio covering branding, events, and weddings. My husband and I work as a team, and between us we bring 35 years of combined experience in the photography space to every session we shoot.

My desire is simple: to give you beautiful, honest, and authentic images. It's an honor to tell your story by capturing your treasured moments, milestones, and everyday ordinary days.

Breanne Johnson Photography was voted Best Wedding Photographer and Best Family Photographer in Waco for the Wacoan's 2025 Best of Waco and Wacoan’s 2026 Best of Waco for Best Wedding, Family, and Childrens Photographer. Those two awards mean a great deal to us, because they came from the Waco community we live in, work in, and love.

Our Photography Style

Our work is built on natural light, genuine connection, and timeless storytelling. Sessions are relaxed and unhurried on purpose. While we may aim for the perfectly posed smiling photos, it is often the in between, imperfect, unposed moments that you find yourself reminiscing on for years to come.

That philosophy carries through every service we offer: family portraits, newborn sessions, branding and headshots, pet portraits, events, weddings, and real estate photography.

Local Waco Expertise

We live, work, and serve right here in McLennan County. That means we know the best lighting angles at Cameron Park, the photo friendly corners downtown, and how the seasons in Central Texas change a portrait setting. Many photographers advertising "serving Waco" are actually based in Dallas, Austin, or Killeen. Because we're local, we respond faster, we know the city park permits, and we've built real relationships with Waco venues, vendors, and families.

We serve Waco, Woodway, Hewitt, McGregor, and all of Central and Southeast Texas. We also travel regularly, spending summers on the Emerald Coast of Florida and winters in the mountains of Broken Bow, serving clients along the way.
