Honest, Story-Driven Wedding Photography in Waco, Texas

Wedding Photographs That Bring You Back to How It Felt

Your wedding photographs should bring you back to more than how everything looked. They should remind you how the day felt.

I photograph weddings throughout Waco, Central Texas, and beyond with a relaxed, observant approach. I will guide you when you need direction, create the family portraits everyone is hoping for, and pay attention to the meaningful moments unfolding around you.

The result is a complete collection of photographs that feels beautiful, natural, and true to the people you love.

The Whole Day, Not Just the Portrait List

Wedding days move faster than anyone expects. My job is to keep up with yours without getting in the way of it.

What you receive from me is the whole day, not just a list of planned portraits.

The first look. Your dad’s face during the toast. Your grandmother finally sitting down after being on her feet all evening. Your best friend crying during the ceremony and pretending she was not. The flower girl dancing alone before anyone else reaches the dance floor. The ten minutes at the end of the night when the two of you finally stop and realize it actually happened.

Those are often the photographs couples return to most, and they are almost never the ones anyone planned for.

We will take the formal portraits, and we will take them well, because you want them and your family wants them. For the rest of the day, I spend my time paying attention.

Wedding Photography That Lets You Stay Present

You should not spend your wedding day wondering where to stand, what to do with your hands, or whether every photograph has been taken.

When direction is needed, I will give it clearly. I will help place you in flattering light, organize family portraits efficiently, and create natural movement during your couple portraits so the photographs do not feel overly posed or stiff.

When direction is not needed, I step back.

My approach combines beautifully guided portraits with candid wedding photography that allows real moments to happen naturally. You can stay present with your people while trusting that the meaningful parts of the day are being documented.

Your wedding is not a photo shoot with a celebration happening around it. The photography should support the experience, not interrupt it.

The Images You Expect and the Moments You Cannot Plan

A complete wedding gallery should tell the full story of your day.

Getting Ready

The anticipation, quiet conversations, final details, handwritten notes, laughter with your closest friends, and the moment everything begins to feel real.

The Ceremony

The entrance, your expressions when you see one another, the people watching from the rows behind you, your vows, your first kiss, and the emotions that happen when everyone forgets about the camera.

Family and Wedding Party Portraits

Organized, polished photographs of the people who came together to celebrate you. I work to make these portraits feel efficient and relaxed so you can spend more time enjoying your day.

Couple Portraits

A chance for the two of you to slow down, take everything in, and create photographs that feel romantic without feeling forced.

The Reception

Entrances, dances, speeches, cake, hugs, laughter, unexpected reactions, crowded dance floors, and the people who stayed until the very end.

The Small Details

The flowers, rings, invitations, heirlooms, table settings, handwritten notes, and personal touches you spent months choosing. These details help preserve the full atmosphere of the day.

A Wedding Gallery That Feels Like Your Day

Your photographs should feel consistent and polished without turning your wedding into something it was not.

I focus on natural expressions, genuine interactions, meaningful details, and true-to-life storytelling. My goal is to create photographs that feel elevated while still looking and feeling like you.

Your gallery will include the traditional photographs you know you will want, but it will also include the interactions happening around them. A hand resting on a shoulder. Someone wiping away a tear. A child watching the first dance from underneath a table. Your parents looking at one another during the vows.

Years from now, those smaller photographs may hold just as much meaning as the portraits you planned.

Wedding Photography for Every Kind of Celebration

Weddings do not all follow the same structure, and your photography coverage should reflect the celebration you are planning.

Full Wedding Days

Complete coverage for couples who want their story documented from the early preparations through the reception and final moments of the evening.

Intimate Weddings

Thoughtful photography for smaller celebrations that still deserve to be documented with the same care and attention as a large wedding day.

Elopements

Flexible coverage for couples creating a personal ceremony centered on what matters most to them.

Engagement Sessions

Relaxed portraits that celebrate this season while giving us an opportunity to work together before the wedding day.

Destination Weddings

Wedding photography is available beyond Waco and Central Texas. Travel can be included in a custom proposal based on your location and coverage needs.

Your Waco Wedding Photographer

Working with a local wedding photographer means choosing someone who understands the pace, venues, weather, light, and character of weddings throughout Central Texas.

I have photographed weddings and celebrations at venues across Waco and the surrounding area, including:

  • Moon River Ranch

  • Old Bethany

  • Gathering Oaks

  • Ridgewood Country Club

  • The Rusted Chandelier

  • Tranquilo Ranch

  • Carleen Bright Arboretum

  • Triple Mountain Ranch

  • Sunroom Studio and Moonlight Court

  • Deerfield Estates

  • The Palladium

Every venue photographs differently throughout the day. Light changes, timelines shift, weather moves in, and indoor spaces may require a different approach than outdoor ceremonies. Experience allows me to adapt while keeping the photography consistent and the day moving naturally.

Whether you are planning a downtown Waco wedding, a countryside ceremony, an elegant ballroom reception, a chapel wedding, or a private celebration on family property, your coverage will be built around your location and priorities.

What It Is Like to Work Together

Before the Wedding

After you inquire, we will discuss your date, venue, plans, coverage needs, and the parts of the day that matter most to you.

As the wedding approaches, we will review the timeline, important family groupings, meaningful details, and any moments or traditions you want to be sure are documented.

Planning beforehand allows the photography to feel more relaxed on the wedding day.

On the Wedding Day

I arrive prepared to document the day as it unfolds while stepping in whenever guidance is helpful.

I will keep portraits moving, look for strong light, communicate clearly, and work alongside your planner, venue, and other vendors. At the same time, I will be watching for the unscripted moments happening just outside the center of attention.

My goal is for you to feel cared for without feeling managed.

After the Wedding

Your photographs will be professionally edited and delivered through an online gallery that is easy to view, share, download, and return to.

Wedding galleries include the complete collection of final edited photographs from your coverage rather than limiting you to a small number chosen in advance.Engagement Photography

An engagement session is more than practice for your wedding portraits. It gives you space to create photographs that reflect your relationship outside the pace and structure of a wedding day.

Your engagement session can feel elegant, casual, adventurous, relaxed, or completely personal to the two of you. We can choose a meaningful location, explore downtown Waco, use natural scenery around Central Texas, visit your wedding venue, or build the session around an activity you enjoy together.

You will also have photographs to use for save-the-dates, invitations, your wedding website, displays, guest books, and announcements.

Most importantly, you will arrive at your wedding already knowing what it feels like to be photographed together.

Have you photographed at our venue before?

I have experience at many wedding venues throughout Waco and Central Texas. If your venue is new to me, I will prepare for the location and lighting before your wedding. A beautiful gallery does not depend on having photographed at the venue previously.

Photographs You Will Keep Coming Back To

One day, your wedding will no longer feel recent.

The flowers will be gone. The music will have ended. Your dress will be carefully stored away, and the people you love will return to their normal routines.

What remains is the marriage you built and the photographs that bring you back to where it began.

My goal is to give you a wedding gallery that holds more than the highlights. I want it to preserve the atmosphere, the people, the movement, and the emotions you may not have had time to notice while they were happening.

Tell me your wedding date and what you are planning. I would be honored to photograph it.
