The days can feel full and fast especially with little ones who never stop moving and seasons that seem to change overnight. Family photos give you a reason to pause, gather close, and hold onto the laughter, the tenderness, and the beauty of right now.
At Breanne Johnson Photography, family sessions are never about expecting everyone to be perfectly posed or looking at the camera every second. They are about connection: the hand-holding, belly laughs, tight hugs, curious little faces, and moments that make your family yours. I will gently guide you when needed, then leave room for the natural, in between memories that often become the most meaningful photographs.

Cameron Park
Cameron Park is one of my favorite places for family photos in Waco. Towering trees, trails, limestone views, open green space, and the Brazos River create a beautiful, natural backdrop for playful and connection-filled portraits.
Waco Suspension Bridge & Indian Spring Park
For families who love an unmistakably Waco setting, the historic Waco Suspension Bridge and nearby Indian Spring Park offer river views, shady trees, open lawn, and plenty of room for kids to move. It is a great option for a session that feels both classic and local.
Brazos Park East
Brazos Park East offers scenic views of the Brazos River, limestone bluffs, wide-open space, and a relaxed Central Texas feel. It is especially lovely near sunset and works beautifully for families who want a simple, natural setting close to downtown Waco.
Downtown Waco & the Brazos Riverwalk
Downtown Waco brings texture, color, walkable spots, and a little more energy to a family session. Pair it with the Brazos Riverwalk for a gallery that feels modern, playful, and distinctly Waco.
Western Belle Farm
Western Belle Farm in nearby West, Texas, is a beautiful seasonal option for playful, color-filled family photos. Its sunflower fields in late spring and early summer and seasonal strawberry and pumpkin experiences create a cheerful, natural setting where children can explore and families can relax together. Availability depends on the farm’s seasonal schedule and photography policies, so we will confirm details before planning your session.
